NEC Report: March 2014

In March I attended Special Conference, spoke at the ALC conference, and attended a Young Labour National Committee meeting, as well as a number of Labour Party events and fundraisers.  I attended NEC meetings, raising the issue of reserved men’s places in branch nominations in open selections; I got Equalities Committee to agree to push to change this before taking the issue to Organisation Committee. I’m pleased that it will now be addressed by the Collins Review Implementation Group.  Last month I campaigned in Swindon North, Swindon South, Reading West and Dover and Deal.  Please see my report for the month here: March NEC report Bex Bailey
